Since breakfasts and lunches are each family's responsibility, please talk to your "loftmates" if you want to coordinate those meals. I have more details on most items included on this schedule, so let me know if you have questions. I'm planning to post of copy of the schedule in each loft.
Hi Jenny, I'd be happy to be your dinner helper.
ReplyDeleteMaybe on Thursday, we can have a game night as our evening activity?
ReplyDeleteAre the campground activities on the 4th run by the camp or by us?
Who are in charge of the "stations" for the 4th? I can host a yoga station!
Also, on a side note, I saw "Emily P." and for a split second thought, who is that? I guess I still haven't gotten used to be married...
Thanks, Michelle & Emily P. The campground activities on the 4th are run by us. I will take volunteers now, or make assignments soon, for those activities as well as the stations.
ReplyDeleteI noticed on their website that daily wristbands for waterslide and mini golf are $10 per person on weekdays and $16 on weekends. Does that seem like a lot more to other people? If so, would we want to consider doing that on Friday instead of Saturday?
ReplyDeleteMom, I think that they mean you can spend $10 and get in for one day, or spend $16 and get in for both Saturday and Sunday. I will double check, but I think the cost would be $10 if we just wanted to swim on Saturday.
ReplyDeleteOne more thing... to keep up with our training schedule, Richard and I will be running 2 miles Friday morning and 5-6 miles on Saturday morning (probably around 6:30 on Fri and 5:30 on Sat, so we can be back to do the walk as a cool down). If anyone wants to join us, they are welcome to!
ReplyDeleteOh, and 3 miles on Monday as well (6:30 again, I'm guessing)
ReplyDeleteI would be happy to help on a dinenr night. Are we allowed to set off our own fireworks? I know that different states have different laws about that.
ReplyDeleteJenny and I talked about tonight adding a 5K into the schedule. We were thinking a firecracker 5K on the Saturday morning of the Fourth of July en lieu of or addition to the walk organized by Carma. Perhaps Emily and Richie could flip flop their training and do a long run on Friday and the 5K on Saturday or sometimes you can substitute a shorter race for a long run. I think we would probably shoot for a start time of around 7, just to beat the heat...and hopefully babies will cooperate so Jenny & I can participate.
ReplyDeleteI like it!
ReplyDeletePS to parents: I have a box with some activities for the kids (or kid-like adults): decorate foam visor hats, kites, kazoos, bubbles, glow sticks, sidewalk chalk (allowed?), story, learn about your state activity. OK, did I go overboard?
ReplyDeletePS and I forgot the fishing pond.
ReplyDeletePSS: I mean I forgot to mention the fishing pond. I have it ready.
ReplyDeleteMom, don't think you went overboard!! The kids will LOVE all of that.
ReplyDeleteMy kids go ga ga for glow sticks. And bubbles. And everything else. They'll love it.
